Exclusive on tap at the brewpub, Ancient Ale series
Pours a honey amber color with a yellowish lacing.
Smells of sweet honey or mead and white wine.
Flavor of sweet lemons, honey, spices like coriander, and tart grapes.
Medium body with a light tingle of carbonation on the roof of the mouth.
An odd brew, like many of the other Ancient Ales, that is worth trying if you are into experimental ales. Probably won't appeal to most though because of it's fruity and borderline-cloying sweetness. Nevertheless, worth trying if for no other reason than uniqueness.
