Had it on tap at Beer Club Popeye in Sumida. Entering my review from notes. Served in a wide, squat tulip.
Dark with very little head. Smell is chocolate and coffee, slight fruitiness -- maybe dates or cherries?
Taste is chocolate, coffee, a little burnt toast. Moderate sweetness. Slow, roasty bitterness.
Mouthfeel is kind of thin. Overall, it's very tasty, but other characteristics don't quite hold up to the standard the flavor sets.
