this is really impressive, although slightly misleading, i thought it might actually be a wild ale, not a kettle sour, when i saw the name, but its a play on buck wild i guess instead, still, nicely soured, barely even tart not sharply acidic or heavily lactic at all, and really well done overall. this place is killing it with the creative and professionally executed beers, really great spot! the color on this is wonderful, a deep past flamingo pink, electric looking, and relatively clear for the style, short lightly stained pink ring of bubbles on top slowly fading. sounds like they use actual huckleberries for this, not some concentrate or extract or whatever, which must make this expensive to produce and highly seasonal, but they come through rather distinct, less generic dark berry thank huckleberry usually manifests in beer, and for that alone this is a winner, but the inclusion of the hibiscus is cool too, adds a little to the tartness, lemony and floral without being perfume, tangy and slightly medicinal and bitter too, which i think is a cool and compatible counterpoint to the sweeter fruit. this is juicy, bright, not sweet at all, and just puckery enough to be refreshing, nothing forced or overdone here at all, super impressive. lighter medium body, a quick currant and blackberry flash, poppy and peppy and excited feeling, unique and dialed in. this place wont stay under the radar long with beers this good...
