On-tap in Middleton. Dark brown liquid, sits opaque in the glass...looks a bit filmy with some off-white head lacing. Pleasant nose and palate, hefty malt bill of roast with some notes of dark caramel, and a good amount of chocolate and coffee. Smooth body, bigger mouthfeel, though it does quite feel the 11% it advertises. Moderate bitterness on the finish, with a touch of warmth and minimal booziness.
