Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a very slightly hazy, medium golden amber with a one finger white head with good retention and nice lacing. Aroma of caramel and pale malt, citrus and dank hops, lemon, orange and light dankness. Flavor is pale and lightly caramel malt, citrus hops, lemon, yuzu, grapefruit and a some light dankness; a burst of estery lemon citrus in the nicely bitter finish. Medium bodied with moderate creaminess. A great Citra fresh hop. Citra as a single hop is not that complex, but the best have estery citrus notes that elevate them and this one is in that group. A touch of dankness adds interest too. Another in the "whatever fresh hop I'm drinking right now is in my favorite list for the year" category; flavor is not that complex, but nicely done with fine herbal hop notes.
