Steeped in German and American brewing traditions, this all-malt, deep golden lager celebratesthe spirit of Pre-Prohibition brewing traditions by combining the best ingredients and little hard work to forge somethingspecial. Starting with the finest German Pilsner and Munichmalts, we’ve crafted a Pre-Prohibition beer for the new Millennium by combining those malts with the decidedly American character of Centennial hops. The resulting beeris crisp, clean, and refreshing, accentuated by the fruity citrus character from two separate additions of Centennial Hops. More carbonated than our typical Free State offerings. It’s a beer crafted to appeal to the uninitiated beer drinker and craft beer enthusiast alike.

Slightly darker than your average lager, it's kind of like a Pils with the hop content of an IPA. Poured from the tap into a pint glass.
Looked more like a very light IPA - with some Lager-like straw paleness and clarity. To be more specific, it's amber colored with straw yellow tinges and a very small white head.
It had quite a unique taste. I really like these brews from FS that represent a popular style only "hopped." This was very much clear tasting like a lager, but slightly maltier with citrus and sugary flavors running throughout. The hops tasted of pine and lemon - probably cascade hops.
The mouthfeel was very well balanced, which was weird for something that tasted more like an IPA. This made for a somewhat ok drinkability.
