Vox is our easy drinking and smooth little spelt ale. Brewed with Pacific Northwest malts and hopped with a mingling of noble and modern Hops then finished with green tea.

Poured into a Gulden Draak tulip. Pours a hazy, medium golden amber with a fine, three finger white head with great retention and solid lacing. Aroma of lightly grainy malt, Belgian saison yeast, hay and a little funk. Flavor follows with Belgian leaning saison yeast, grainy malt, floral field hay and an unusual vegetal character, probably from the spelt. Light grassy and citrus hops in the finish. Medium bodied with moderate creaminess, solid carbonation and a nice mouth feel. This is somewhat reminiscent of Hildegard's Lux, but I haven't had that in a while and think this might have a little more floral and herbal hop character. Both seem to straddle the line between saisons and light Belgian style ales. Surprisingly fine mouth feel and great flavor depth for the ABV. A pleasant and well worth visiting table ale.
