Thoroughly hoppy, spectacularly aromatic, and undoubtedly awesome - Awesome Hops is filled with explosively dank and sticky hops. Simcoe, Ekuanot, and Columbus get cranked up in this West Coast-style double IPA.

Was excited to try another one from Beachwood, one of my favorite breweries. Can called for, “Thoroughly hoppy, spectacularly aromatic, and undoubtedly awesome - Awesome Hops is filled with explosively dank and sticky hops. Simcoe, Ekuanot, and Columbus get cranked up in this West Coast-style double IPA.” A little rusty with the Ekuanot, but I do like it.
Poured an amber clear color with 2-to-3 fingers of frothy white head. Lots of fast moving bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass. Very good spotty lacing. Outstanding foamy lacing. Outstanding retention. (Sight - 4.75)
Smelled Simcoe, Columbus, pine, dank resin and grapefruit. (Smell - 4.25)
Taste was not quite as good as the nose. Got spicy Simcoe, Columbus, pine, dank resin, black licorice, pepper and dark fruit. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long finish. (Feel - 4.25)
Just a really good beer. Outstanding in fact. (Overall - 4.00)
