I had this beer on tap in a shaker pint at the brewery.
Appearance: medium brown hue with a light haze and a thin layer of light tan foam atop.
Smell: nutty, caramelly malt aroma with a bit of toastiness. Not too bad.
Taste: like the aroma, it’s a bit nutty with a little caramel sweetness. Finish is rather bitter; I feel like it’s not quite balanced.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and a pretty good creaminess.
Overall: not a bad brown ale overall, but could be better balanced.
