Designed and brewed for an enjoyable drinking session. This really easy drinking beer ticks all the boxes of a mid strength-beer.

Drunk from the tap, fresh at the source in January 2023.
L: Archetypal beer presentation. Golden yellow, with a fluffy, white head. Carbonation happily jumping up the glass.
S: Mild, yeasty notes but not much else. The beer was served quite cold in a chilled mug, so the lack of aroma is not at all surprising, but in hindsight, I'd probably expect more from a craft mid-strength in 2023.
T: Moderately bitter with earthy and floral hops. It's a milder, less harsh version of a classic Aussie lager. But then I remember that this is a mid-strength ale - it had honestly skipped my mind as a was thinking about what to write here - and I'm impressed with the body and depth of the flavour. Some citrusy notes appeared as the beer warmed.
M: Mouthfeel is well suited to the beer. It has sharp carbonation that suits the flavour profile well.
O: I won't go on my usual rant about Australia's top-selling beer, which is a markedly inferior macro-brewed lager, except to say that it doesn't deserve to sell a single drop more than this beer. The only thing I can knock this one on is the lack of aroma, and I suspect the method of serving might have contributed to that.
Cheers!
