Poured from the tap, fresh at the source in January 2023.
L: Hazy, pineapple yellow with a frothy white head that quickly dissipates into a thin covering.
S: Hoppy pineapple and guava over a generally fruity, tropical nose.
T: very tropical: pineapple hits first but creamy, almost vanilla lychees follow up. There's also guava in there as per the nose. Bitterness is minimal. This one has summer written all over it.
M: Mouthfeel is soft and carbonation is minimal, encouraging quick consumption, as if the nose and taste weren't already doing so.
O: This is a very well-constructed, easy-drinking summer ale, ticking all the required tropical boxes. An excellent beer that could really be drunk in bulk.
Cheers!
