A local take on a hazy pale ale. Tropical fruit aromas that will have you lost in the haze, staring out into the ocean on a summers day.

Purchased at the source in January 2023, and drunk in March 2023.
L: Light, hazy-yellow in the glass with a moussy, bright-white head. Significant carbonation is visible in the stem of the IPA glass.
S: Peach and nectarine with an oily, dank hop note at the end.
T: Grapefruit peel, lemon peel and sherbety nectarine in the mouth. Quite a kick of bitterness counterpoints the nectarine sweetness, and when layered with the bitter peel note the beer comes through a little more bitter than expected, but it's still very nice. Overall it teeters on the edge of shampoo and diesel but never steps over that line.
M: Mouthfeel is smooth. Carbonation in the mouth is medium-high and there's a lingering bite in the throat and tongue after the beer has gone down, but when matched with that sherbety note in the mouth it comes across as very pleasant.
O: As noted in the taste section this one teeters on the edge of that hazy shampoo/diesel cliff, but stays on the right side of the precipice. This results in an enjoyable, refreshingly bitter pale ale.
Cheers!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
