Drunk fresh at the source in January 2024.
L: This one is listed on Untappd as a Czech pilsner (for what that's worth!) but pours a crystal clear, light golden yellow with a thin, bright-white head. In the glass, it's probably a little too bright for a Czech pilsner. A tight column of bubbles rushes up from the middle of the glass.
S: Light malts and light citrusy hops.
T: A clean body with no noticeable malt taste, and so headlined by mild, lemony hops. Quite low on the bitterness for a pilsner, with what bitterness there is coming retronasally.
M: Carbonation is low, and the mouthfeel is soft. There's a slight thinness on the finish.
O: I can't deny that I was a little disappointed in this one as it didn't hit the notes around bitterness, malt body, and even colour that I would expect from a Czech Pilsner.
Cheers!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
