I purchased it at the source in January 2024 and drank it a few days later.
L: Brilliant, hazy, golden orange, with a thick, fluffy, bright-white head that leaves lacing in the glass. Lots of carbonation can be seen.
S: The usual piney and tropical notes with guava and ripe melon standing out.
T: Taste is similar to the nose - slightly piney, slightly tropical with some orange and orange peel also noticeable in the profile. No malt backbone to speak of. It is very much a modern, West Coastish IPA.
M: Mouthfeel is smooth and soft. Carbonation is low. Carbonic prickle is extremely low.
O: This is a nice, modern interpretation of an IPA with the usual taste notes and profile. It's a good beer that doesn't break any new ground and probably isn't pretending to.
Cheers!
