Designed to carry a heavier hop load than it's ABV would imply. Saturated with our favorite hops from the southern hemisphere and the Pacific NW. A blend of exotic and familiar flavors and aromas.

sturdy heavily hopped beer for this strength, unfiltered for sure, hazy but not messy, very frothy headed with great retention and lace, had from the pint can at high west in park city, and yes, i nipped a little brown liquor there as well. some density to this, looks bigger than it is really. nelson, mosaic, and simcoe make the nose here pretty wonderful, pungent and on the edge of too much, but fresh and distinctive, white wine and green grape and green pear, pine resin and a fresh bag, grapefruit and coconut but not quite tropical, starchy grain is evident too, things seem fresh and well proportioned, it warms to some honey sweetness, floral as much as fruity, delicate notes turned way up loud, which is always interesting for the senses, unique anyway, and thats nice in the world of samey ipa we live in these days. the flavor is great as well, some grassy and green notes but its not harsh on the palate, verdant and lush, hints of nopales and lime, some bitterness on my tongue but this isnt super bitter overall, its due to the hop saturation, which is really high here. nice oils from the hops on the palate, decent body too for its low abv, for me its smooth and long, could easily be wheat based, but the grain flavor is largely overwhelmed by the hops. some linger to this beyond the bitterness, which makes it seem just a touch over the top, but its pretty pleasant overall and the nelson really stands out. a distinctive and even aggressive take, this makes quite the impression.

Pours a cloudy golden orange with two fingers of foamy head that slowly settles to a thin cap with plenty of lacing. Aroma of pineapple and citrus. Taste follows nose. Tasty.
