WTF is a mid ale you ask? Well it can be kinda whatever you want but it has to be somewhere around 3.5-4%. This version leans pretty hard into what some might call an English Ordinary Bitter (literally the worst name for a beer style on the planet). It’s almost entirely Golden Promise malt, with a bit of Invert Sugar No.2 that would be traditional for this style. However we hopped this entirely with Segal hop ranch Anchovy hops. When you name a beer after a scavenging bird this hop just seemed appropriate. It’s light auburn, kinda dark gold in color with a nice malt complexity. Undertones of caramelized sugar blend with the light citrus and raspberry seed character from the Anchovy. Super crushable with just enough flavor and aroma to remind you it’s well made but not so much to prevent you from having 5 or so.
