a neat single hop pale ale with a hop we dont see much in this context, or even in a lead context, and i have to confess, for knowing it by name, i do not know it well by personality in a beer at all, so i was excited and then educated by this drinkable, flavorful, hazy pale ale. this is one of those hazy ones thats also super refined, hazy to leave hop character fully intact, not hazy for the sake of it, not a haze bro thing, still polished to about the furthest extent in can be while retaining its hop glory, which is cool with a less familiar varietal, and the low alcohol keeps it pretty crushable. really dry hoppy and fresh to me, low bitterness, and the hops come with ripe stone fruit, green melon, and subtle cannabis character, but not overly intense, a huge wash of layered citrus too from white grapefruit to meyer lemon, some oils apparent, somewhat dank, just enough grain balancing it out, and it tastes like it smells, a hit of floral white wine up front, sweet fresh florals to it before the fruit kicks up, pineapple, clover, white tea, jasmine, honeydew, delicious! rushing carbonation makes it sing on the palate and the oils it has dont make it heavy, held back bitterness, some white wheat malt likely softening the texture some, lemon candy as it warms but not because its sweet. a repeatable and distinctive pale ale that i would drink happily anytime. nothing but bangers in here!
