Clear gold color with white cap and decent lacing.
Aroma of mildly sweet malt and a bit more prominent floral, spicy hops.
Taste on entry is spicy hoppy at first quickly followed by sweet malt with malt increasingly presenting by mid palate and lingering in the long clean aftertaste.
Medium texture with balancing carbonation.
This one has everything it needs and nothing it doesn't. A clean, crisp, well balanced Pilsner style worthy of your attention.

Big white head over the pale gold body that left good lacing. Gentle floral hop influence in the aroma compliments the bready malts. Some sweetness in the first sip but not cloying. Bitterness is low keyed. Dry, crisp finish. Medium-to-light bodied, well carbonated mouthfeel.

One of the better pilsners I have had to date...
This one was mild in comparison to other pils, but in a good way. Golden colored hue to the beer that comes with a short-lived frothy head gives way to a scent that is mostly to style. Mouthfeel is crisp but smooth, and the taste has a malty finish to it, really nice.

Clear golden color with a respectable white head and good retention, some very nice lacing.
The aroma is light sweet bready malt and fresh hay.
The taste is fresh bread, a touch of corn sweetness and a nice dose of herbal hops, clean finish. The body is light, plenty of carbonation, smooth and very drinkable.
Altogether, this is tasty and refreshing, a good summer cooler. It does seem to me closer to a Pilsner than just an American lager due to the heavier hop load, nothing exceptional, but still a decent summer cooler.

Picked up at a pizza joint. Popping the top I smell sweet malt a noble hopping with some breadlines. Then pours to a bright yellow. Taste is sparkly sweet and with nice bitter undertones. More bitter than your usual Pilsner but not in a bad way. Aftertaste is sweet and clea almost fruity. A nice beer to go with my pizza. Great for the style.

12 oz can. Pours golden with white head. Medium smooth body. Bready malt and grassy hops fill the mouth. Medium dry finish. Ok brew.

12 oz can here in NJ. A little unexpected sweetness in the nose, usually indicative of adjuncts. Not a lot of attenuation so it never really achieves the crispness you wan from a Pils. Mediocre at best, certainly won't buy it again.

Now I'd never buy this beer at it's retail price but it isn't bad. It reminds me of old U.S. Lowenbrau if anyone remembers that. Taste is very close and so is the mouth feel. Easy drinking but sadly only 5% ABV. For me, anything 5% or less is nothing more than something to drink on a hot day after you have already caught your buzz. If you are buying it to get buzzed then you had better be a light weight. This does taste pretty good and it's poundable. If you get lucky like I did and find it at clearance then add it to your blessings and spend what you saved on a nice bottle of booze or food to pair with your weekend. B the way.... I bought 14- 6 packs and a bottle of Knob Creek to go along with New York steaks on the BBQ with shrimp cocktail as an appetizer for this Superbowl Sunday. If I hadn't found this beer on clearance then the shrimp would have been out of the question. Sadly my team lost the gamE but the food and beer was a great pairing!! Cheers!!

Poured into a pilsner glass. Pours a light to medium golden amber with a two finger white head with good retention and lacing. Aroma of lightly grainy pilsner malt, grassy hops, hay and a touch of lemon. Flavor is lightly grainy pilsner malt, light grassy hops, a hint of corn adjunct, fresh hay and a touch of lemon. Light to moderately grainy and grassy finish. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. I got this can from Southern California and was somewhat baffled by its labeling, which started with the term "Authentic American pilsner with Saaz hops", which was an odd juxtaposition, but evidently a pilsner made for American taste (with adjuncts?) but with classic Czech hops. Then I saw it was brewed in San Jose, CA, which made sense from its source. But around the top of the can it says "Heritage Runs Deep" with a map of Texas. So I realized I was out of my element and had to go online to find out what this was. The name is apparently related a famous early Texas ranch (Est. 1870, but not for beer brewing) that was purchased by the creator of th Yellowstone television show. Now things made a little more sense; a beer branding company with the ranch as its theme. It seems like it probably is locally contract brewed, thus the California connection. So now it was time to actually try the beer and I was prepared for something craftish, but basically macro contract brewed, which is pretty much what it is. It looks nice, if a little light in color, has a somewhat subdued aroma, but with a decent Czech pilsner profile and flavor followed, but with a mild sweetness that hinted at adjuncts. Bitterness is scaled back from a Continental pilsner, but does taste like classic Saaz hops as promised. This does have a little more character than an adjunct lager, but somewhat similar to the other large volume pilsner style lagers brewed throughout the world. Tame, but a easy drinker. Interesting to try, but a one and done. Comes in one of those weird 19 oz. cans that seem to be popular in grocery stores for crafty beers.
For the record, the brewery seems to be called 6666 Grit & Glory Brewing, so this is just their pilsner (all their beers are "named" 6666 / Four Sixes).
