A full bodied, no-adjunct Russian imperial stout with a bit of everything in it. Eight different malts that remind you of coffee, chocolate, dried dark fruits, and caramel.

On tap at brewery:
Very dark brown with a light tan head that fizzles like it’s going to disappear but ends up being pretty resilient, to the tune of leaving nice lacing.
Nose is coffe and dark chocolate with a hint of dark fruit - my olfactory sense is leaning towards raisin. There’s a little bit of caramel sweetness that has me worried it might be under-attenuated.
Fears go away on first sip. This beer isn’t dry, but it’s not sweet, either. Dark roast coffee with the smallest pinch of sugar. Liquid dark chocolate by mid-taste has a similar dark fruit sensation, though I’m not getting any distinct fruit. As far as distinct fruit, I’m actually getting a hint of banana in the latter part of the taste.
A bit of a bumpy carbonated ride on open, warmth mellows and smooths the beer a bit. My initial thoughts on this were it had Baltic Porter flavors with ann imperial stout feel. In the end, I like that overall, they did a good job without going sweet or adjunct/flavor laden.
