"One of our favourite styles to enjoy in the warmer months, with some twists and tricks we've learnt over the 6 years of brewing our Belgian wit.
Drawing on the classics of the genre, some home-brew back catalogue data and our half-wit of a mate."

On tap at the Belgian Beer Cafe in Melbourne.
Brewed for hot weather, this did its job. Was refreshing. Could give me more foam, call this average. Gave me scents of citrus. Balanced, but also didn't try to standout. Light in my mouth. But good enough bubbles to cut through the fried appetizers I ordered.

This is a Bonehead experiment, probably derived from their home-brew days. Like many trying to brew Belgians in a warm climate, this could have a more lively yeast. They also might try a more traditional spicing using coriander and orange more.

UnTappd lists 138 brews from these guys. In surveying their website, Bonehead may not be that far from their home-brew days, although now 8 years old. Two boneheads (that's what they call each other) having fun in Melbourne. Why not keep the wit alive to refresh your mates? Try again next summer with the spicing amped up. The lively yeast could require a more long-term solution.
