Pours a fizzy bubbly 1/2 finger head with fair to lower retention, a bit of lacing, mostly hazy slight clear with plenty of sediment floating, golden pear color
Nose brings fair funk, souring funk with some potential bacteria sour, barnyard Brett, light cereal grain, floral flowery dandelion notes, tart lemon and hint of oak
Taste starts with buttery oak, then into grainy malts, lemongrass and hay, fair barnyard Brett funk and maybe a little souring bacteria but a lot more of the dryness of Brett, fruity notes with some orchard fruit maybe sour apple and pear like, mild floral spices and some flowery dandelion like characters, touch of lemon zest citrus, very dry finish with more of the grassy hay and straw with farmhouse notes lingering
Mouth is med to a bit lighter bod, high effervescent carb, a touch of acidity
Overall an interesting a fun beer, enjoyable, not really a sour per se, but a funky farmhouse with some barrel notes and dandelion
