Draft at Brown Beard. Hazy golden pour, one finger dense white head. Faint citrusy aroma. Taste amps up quickly, bitter, fruity, citrus zesty. Quite a bite.

cool beer, the only hoppy one left when we rocked up, juicy, tropical, fresh, and bold without being the least bit green or alcoholic, nicely done. its a little cloudy but doesnt drink like a new england type, its lighter than that, maybe just unfiltered, frothy headed from the tap, orange tinted, and quite well carbonated which was not true of all the beers in here. notes of mango and peach in the nose to me, a little zesty orange too, some dankness but its not over the top intense or anything, faint juniper here too, fresh and interesting, but i can quite pick out the hops, citra likely but that cant be all. a little more of a melon thing in the flavor, suggesting maybe el dorado, but the bitterness is low enough to have me unsure, and this really carries a long while without being sweet, so the texture is somehow uncommon for the style. faint green grape and apricot, tangerine, and a nice brightness overall as the malt is quite light. subtle floral honey on the swallow, a little oil on the tongue from all the hops, slightly candied too, but the rushing carbonation makes it clean at the same time. great freshness to this, fun hop complexion, and a dangerously drinkable warm weather double ipa. looking forward to more hops from these guys next visit!
