This beer isn't your typical amber which you may have guessed. Hopped up with nugget, cascade, and el dorado hops.

Clear copper that is evocative of coreten steel (SRM 13-15). A three-inch, ochre head slowly yields and rests like a thick blanket after leaving dense patches of lace on the wall of a fisheye pint glass.
There is a pleasant mix of citrus and pine. Light floral and cedar notes lead to faint tobacco.
Hop bitterness is clearly present, though moderate, with sweetness in balance. Citrus and pine are as expected, with malt shepherding them to an earthy finish that starts strong and slowly fades as it lingers.
Alcohol is a expected. It has a medium body and oily texture. Carbonation is soft and similar to what one might expect from a cask pour.
This is a solid beer with great flavor that holds one's interest. The bar tender thought Kveik yeast was used, which is plausible. If Kveik was used, then it is far less obvious than in the Kveik Red or Norwegian Saison that Rebel Sailor released earlier this year. I found this to be just right, while sitting out back on a sunny summer afternoon.
