Our oatmeal stout on nitro! This stout is carbonated with nitrogen and less CO2 than most other beers. That means less carbonation which makes for a fuller body and a smoother drink.

One half inch of creamy, chestnut froth gradually fades, leaving no lacing. The beer is nearly black, with a thin, dark cola halo.
The aroma has milk chocolate and mild roasted malt. Café Latte comes out late and in waves.
Light sourness is subtle and welcome in a Harp nonic glass. The roasted malt is most noticeable. There is also a light baker's chocolate. Bitterness is mild, with faint sweetness apparent just before a long, mild finish. Warmth brings out nuttiness.
This one has a full body and a soft, creamy texture. Alcohol is more present than expected, as is the fizzy carbonation. Both alcohol and carbonation are at the high end of the style range.
This is a pleasure to drink after a full day's work. One could easily while away the evening playing cards or engaging in casual conversation.
