On tap at the brewery into a 16oz pint glass. Pours a slightly hazy glowing golden yellow color with a satisfactory white head.
Aroma is tropical and fruity, juicy as in the name. Mango, peach, orange, grapefruit rind.
Taste follows nose. Pale bready malt, bright citrusy hops, orange peel. Moderate bitterness on the finish but the focus here is on the aromatic and flavor properties of the hops.
Mouthfeel is balanced, medium bodied, spot-on for a pale ale/IPA.
Overall a solid first choice from this new brewery just a short walk from home. Comparable to some of my favorites from Bale Breaker.
