Pint can of Juicifina purchased directly from the brewery. Served in a goblet. Murky orange color with lots of head formation. Juicy, guava-mango aroma with a little bit of funk. Flavor has a good balance of tropical fruit with alpha bitterness and pine. A little of bit of pith and citrus zest in the aftertaste. Really nice NE IPA from Project 9!

Poured from 16oz can into my 8th Wonder chalice. No date visible on the can. They call this a “Juicy IPA”, but by appearance and flavor, I think we can safely call it a NEIPA/hazy.
Appearance: rich golden-orange hue with plenty of haze anda. finger of frothy ivory foam that leave a nice lace on the glass.
Smell: sweet and juicy aroma with lots of tropical aromas, foremost among them passionfruit, and also a nice tangerine like quality. Very nice indeed!
Taste: juicy and tropical, quite a bit like the aroma. To be honest, I would not be surprised to learn that there is flavoring here beyond just hops … if there is not, then these hops are doing yeoman’s work imitating passionfruit and guava. It’s good, but there is just a hint of a sharpness or something that prevents this beer from being truly excellent.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: a perfectly comulent tropical IPA with hazy characteristics. Perhaps not perfect, but then, who is?
