Brewed with a medley of Ontario grains: wheat, buckwheat, spelt and barley. Lively and easy drinking. Very food friendly. Classic saison notes, spice, clove, fresh straw.

Wow. Blown away. Light in ABV but absolutely packed with FLAVOUR. Complex and balanced. Delicious. Nose is grapey and bready. Malt bomb.

I'm excited to try more from this brewery.

500ml bottle purchased at the bottle shop.

Surprisingly pale yellow colour. Hazy. Effervescent. Not much head or lacing.

Vinous malt. Spicy yeast esters.

Lemony taste. Lots of coriander and clove from the yeast.

Not too sweet. Not too dry either.

This is a ridiculously light saison. The fact that it packs so much flavour into such a light, low abv package augurs well for the Burdock brewers' abilities. I'm intrigued.

Bottle from the brewery. Too much banana yeast for a saison. And sour astringent off flavours.Overcarbonated.Poor execution on this one and it should not have been sold. Drainpour.

500ml bottle from brewery.

Bright effervescent gold with strong head and nice lacing. Floral nose with slight grainy character. Mild flavours of banana, grass and pale grain. Bubbly. Enjoyable.

Very light coloured and lightly hazy. Scant head. Nose of cloves, coriander, and phenol dominance. Taste has a mild malt quality up front before a shift to a peppery and floral hops finish. Slight linger, fairly thin body, but pretty sharp carbonation.

Nose is grassy and floral with some fruity scents. Flavour contains a lot of banana, as well as bubblegum and a bit of white pepper. Quite sweet. Seems to be a significant wheat base. Not bad, but not what I look for in a saison.
