Purchased at the brewery for $15.00 for a 750ml bottle. Mighty steep and on the high end of the scale. Served at 4deg C in a tulip
A- Opens well and pours no head at all even with a vigorous pour. Interesting pink colour and unfiltered
S- Sour.
T- Sour. Has a yeasty good base. Aftertaste gets bitter. Definitely a blend of brew styles and fruits. Nice blend though but body is a bit lacking. More fruit needed.
M- Dry. Very dry
O- Nice brew. Got rated down a bit due to price. Worth $10.00 for sure but not $15 sorry. Will not buy again
Food Pairing
This interesting little sour went well with...... Pan seared scallops in a white wine cream sauce drizzled lightly over with mashed potato that have extremely finely diced garlic scapes mixed in topped with a dollop of butter and shredded cheddar cheese. Side it with your choice of fine green such as fiddleheads now that they are in season
Enjoy
