Crafted with German pilsner malt, a blend of classic and new German hops, and our house lager yeast blend. Single-decocted and naturally carbonated. Notes of bread, crackers, candied lemon, and melon. Named after Sappho (~615 – 570 BCE), who was one of the most renowned ancient poets. She was even regarded as the tenth muse!

A: crystal clear; pale gold in color; 1 finger finely pored white head that receded relatively quickly to a moderate tight collar; OK lacing;
S: grainy with a bit of hop spice;
T: grainy and on the sweet side from start to finish; hop spice is still there, but buried pretty deep; mild bitterness at the end;
M: light to medium bodied; moderate carbonation; moderately dry finish;
O: aroma and flavor are right on the BJCP guidelines;

Clear golden with a beautifully puffy, impossibly condensed white head of two fingers in a large glass tankard.
Poured by lukr from a fresh keg, this told a tale of two textures. The impossibly crisp body comes after the crazy pillowy head, where corn nuts meet wild herbs accented by a tangy sort of faint dankness or something kind of like allium, but much subtler.
Absolutely stellar.
