Poured stout black with a very tall light brown head which made me wait way too long to really get into it. First world problems, right?
The taste is very much a milk stout- lactose gives a unique flavor; a soft sweetness, and with the vanilla and cacao it gives the impression of a frothy chocolate milk. With coffee, but that’s more a supporting substance than a primary flavor. It is a treat.
The feel is also affected by the lactose - an interesting softness. Nice viscosity.
OA, I very much enjoyed drinking this, and appropriately as dessert.

Sampling a cellar temp 16 oz can poured into my snifter. Purchased at the brewery and the can has been in my cellar since. No date stamp on the label or can.
the beer pours a rich dark brown color , basically black coffee. No light passes through the glass. A dense creamy tan head of almost 3 cm foams up even with a gentle pour. This foam slowly fades to a clingy , sturdy edging and one large island in the center of my glass. I do get tight lattice when I swirl the glass or take a sip.
Aroma is dark roasted malts and chocolate bar with hints of vanilla. There is a bit of sweetened coffee in there too. No hop hits and not a bit of alcohol bite nor fusol notes on the nose.
First sip reveals a medium to thick body and creamy texture, with very fine spacious carbonation. Feels very nice on my palate.
Flavor is definitely sweet, but not like a candy bar or sugary. Some hot chocolate notes with a bit of light and sweet coffee. I guess a mocha would be correct descriptor. Not really to vanilla-y and hops are absent as well as the booze. This is a fairly thick, sorta sweet chocolatey stout. Very glad I bought these cans from my local brewery a while back. Id definitely buy this again.
