Apicius is our fruited kettle sour series. This iteration was conditioned on massive amounts of blueberry and sweet cherry purée. Crafted with American malted barley and white wheat, British torrified wheat, American hops, and our favorite Lactobacillus culture, it is soft, tart, and refreshing. We taste notes of berry jam, blueberry pie, and cherry ice cream with a soft wheat finish.
It is named after the famous Roman epicure Marcus Gavius Apicius (1st century CE).
