Imperial India Pale Ale inspired by our love of west coast hops and the mouthfeel of east coast IPAs. Crafted with American malted barley, specialty German malts. and our house ale yeast. Hopped generously with Chinook & Cascade from our friends at Smokedown Farm Hops in Sharon, CT, Simcoe, and a touch of Columbus. Notes of pineapple, juicy fruit, papaya, mango, and pine.
It is named after Pericles (495 - 429 BCE), who was an ancient Greek statesman, general, and orator. He is primarily responsible for the growth of Athenian democracy and establishment of the Athenian Empire.
