Sampling a chilled 16 oz can poured into my .5L dimple mug. Beer was purchased at the brewery today. Label says drink fresh, but no date stamping is present.
The beer pours a bright golden color with a little bronzing and fizzy bleached white head frothing up about 1 cm and fading very rapidly to nothing. Several active streams of carbonation rise to the surface throughout, but never replenish the head.
Aroma is biscuity malt and some cereal grains with hints of grassy hops, but the grainy malt is dominant.
First sip reveals a medium to light body with very fine and tingly carbonation. Texture is very smooth and this beer drinks very easy, which seems appropriate for the style.
Flavor is similar to the nose advertisements with some brief malty sweetness and then grainy biscuity notes carry through to a fairly dry finish. There is a bit of black tea bite on the finish as well, but the grainy malt is what lingers. Never any hint of the ABV. This is another winner from Caius and Im super glad that this brewery is so close to my house. Glad to have consumed this one!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
