Without an English button on the nano's website, you get to practice your German (as do those on UnTappd from which this is drawn.)

My first from Amboss was on tap and poured into their promotional glass at an Indian restaurant near my Zurich hotel.
When I cannot find the English button, I get increasingly resistant to giving good micro-reviews. After all, this is volunteer work here on BA... so why should I have to translate German, which is nearly impossible anyway. Nonetheless from the photos, Amboss seems to be having fun making the micro sector grow. So I give Amboss good Overall Hugs, even though I don't know what they are doing.
Not to be Bavarian biased, but this Weizen is not going to compete with the masters... not even in five more releases will it be close. While it Looks, Smells and Tastes undistinguished, it still is slightly above average. But it really lacks the soft mouth and subtlety of a well-made wheat. While suitable to eat with Indian food and possibly other kitchens given its lack of fruitiness and character, I'd still drink Amboss Weizen at the table.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
