I believe something is off with this particular batch there are really bad off flavors, perhaps due to oxidation. I've talked to several people that said previous batches tasted nothing like this. I'd like to revisit it when future batches release.

On draught at the brewery. Served in a Willi Becher glass. It pours a dense, muddy orange color with a thick, creamy, milk-white cap and swirls of lacing. The smell is huge and vibrant with pineapple, tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, and floral hops. I could smell it as soon as the glass arrived. The bright fruit flavor is present but it's balanced by the dank earthiness of the Strata hops. The affect is soft and understated. It's bitter but not sharply. It's very easy to drink. The mouth feel is luxuriously thick and creamy with moderate carbonation. The 8% ABV gives it good substance. Overall, while I'm generally not a fan of Strata hops , Autodidact uses them deftly in this ale. It's not overly dank and weedy. This is a very nice DIPA with a heavier, autumnal feel
