On draught at the brewery. Served in a Willi Becher glass. It's a cloudy, pale, grassy yellow color with a half finger, bright white head and modest lacing. For a Grisette, the nose is huge: bready, fairly sweet grains, lemon peel, and just a whiff of sweeter fruit. But the taste is dry and very bitter - I'm assuming due to being conditioned on green strawberries. While there are notes of tart lemon, the bready malt sweetness I smelled is absent. There is just a hint of farmhouse funk. It's very clean. The mouth feel is ultra lite and crisp with lively carbonation, and the 4% ABV is barely noticeable. Overall, this is the most bitter Grisette I've had. But it's a good local rendition of a style which far too few brewers attempt.
