Collaboration with Twin Elephant Brewing. Brewed with a mix between ours and Twin’s standard NEIPA base, we made the focus here is on the hops and terpenes. We aggressively hopped this one with Citra, Riwaka, Peacherine, and the STTX145 hop terpenes for a beautiful tropically hop medley that walks hand-in-hand with dank weedy undertones.

Pint pour on draught at the brewery. Served in a tulip glass. It pours a dense, opaque, pastel yellow color with a big, creamy, bright white cap and thick, soapy lacing. The smell includes lemon, lime, pineapple, peach, and floral hops with weedy dankness. Its taste largely follows with lemon, lime zest, and sweet tropical fruit. The hop terpenes and malt bill contribute a dank, grassy, earthy taste that plays off the tart and sweet fruits. There is solid bitterness throughout and a strong hop burn that should mellow with a week or two in the can. The mouth feel is great: luxuriously plush and creamy with silky carbonation. I barely noticed the 8.5% ABV. Overall, this ale is a very good and a successful collaboration between Autodidact and Twin Elephant.
