Brewed with some tweaks to our standard NEIPA base, and then hopped generously with Riwaka, Nelson, and Nectaron hops.

Canned 6 days before review. Poured into a Willi Becher glass. It is opaque and dirty tangerine in color. It sports more than a finger of fluffy, bright white foam and very thick lacing. The smell includes lemon, lime, grapefruit, pineapple, and passion fruit. The taste follows and it's big and bold but not overly sweet. The flavors lead with lemon, lime zest, and grapefruit. There is subtle pineapple and tropical sweetness and perhaps a hint of melon. I'm not sure I would have guessed that Nelson was used if it didn't say so on the can. Auto uses Nelson very deftly. When you know it is there you can taste it but it isn't obvious. The mouth feel is vintage Autodidact: thick and plush and it doesn't drink like 8.1%. Before I realized the glass was nearly empty. Overall, Fractured Quartz is another killer hazy from the Rons at Autodidact.
