Pint pour on draught at the brewery the day after release. Served in a snulip glass. Its color is a dense, opaque lemon-orange and it sports a creamy, bright white head and lots of thick, soapy lacing inside the glass. The fragrant nose includes lemon, lime, grapefruit, white wine, and just a whiff of sweeter fruit. Its taste follows with grapefruit rind, lime zest, pinot gris, and grassy, herbal notes with a hint of red berry as it warms. There is noticeable hop burn at the finish and after taste; hopefully, it will mellow in a week or so. If it does, then the taste rating will improve. The mouth feel is superb: thick and plush with appropriate carbonation, and it drinks very easily for its 8.4% ABV. Overall, this is another very good Southern Hemisphere DIPAs from Autodidact. I will say they are all a bit "hot" when first released.
