This new Marzen was brewed with 100% NC grown Pilsner, Munich, and Vienna malts from Carolina Malt House, showcasing our local terroir. Cool spunding fermentation provides natural carbonation. Extended cold lagering for many moons.

On tap at brewery into willi becher glass. Pours clear reddish orange amber color with a 1 finger dense off white head. Great head retention and spotty soapy lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of big caramel, brown sugar, brown bread, toast, biscuit, nuttiness, herbal, grass, peppercorn, light pine/dark fruit. Lt med pine herbal bitter finish. Medium carb and medium plus body. Balanced creamy bready/malts and sticky hop mouthfeel. Lingering hop drying. No cloying. Very clean lager flavors. Big rich Munich malts and balanced noble hops. Awesome Oktoberfest.
