On tap at the brewery into willi becher glass. Pours crystal clear golden straw color with a small white head. Good head retention and spotty lacing for the style. Muted and pleasant aromas of tart watermelon and light lacto funk. Taste of tart watermelon, lemon, pear, apple, wheat, cracker, herbal, grass, pepper, light lacto funk. Lt med tartness and light herbal bitterness on the finish. Crisp clean refreshing finish, nearly bone dry. Light body, balanced grainy malt and acidity in the mouthfeel. No puckering flavors. Not as much lacto or fruit as expected, but a refreshing berliner.
