Hazy golden color with medium-sized, white head. Tropical fruits and some malt in the aroma. Balanced taste with pleasant, hoppy bitterness. A good one.

Modest head which leaves no lace residue. The liquid is cloudy, almost like apricot juice in appearance.
Half weedy, half floral hop aroma. The malt, while faint, has some nice toastiness to it.
This APA is a good blend of three lightly toasted bread-like malt and the white pepper-like hop. The body leans to the thinner side but the carbonation fits this well. The bitterness holds up through the longer aftertaste. Overall, a fitting entry into the APA category.

a very good pale ale. I am not always a fan of pale ales, since they frequently come across as a watered down IPA. This one is a nice combo of hops with some malt flavor.
The fact that it uses NYS sourced ingredients is a plus (as a lifetime NYS resident).

As a New Yorker this is downright insulting. This is bottom tier for any NY beer. Foamed up like crazy and tasted terrible. Avoid at all costs.

On tap at the Bully Hill Restaurant in Hammondsport, NY.
This one pours a very hazy golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells a bit green and harsh, with some mango and grapefruit, and a bit of grassy hops.
This has a bit astringent and weird harshness here, along with malt sweetness, but there is decent juicy hop character to make it palatable. I get the usual grapefruit and some definite tropical character as well.
This is medium bodied, with a decent drinkability, and a bit of slickness.
This was alright, but Ithaca is still a hollow shell of its former glory.

Can't understand mediocre reviews. very good stuff. I guess people have different tastes. Maybe because it tastes like I think a beer should: some nice hoppiness, but lots of other beer-like flavor. taste of bread, mild yet distinct (not obnoxious) hop bite. Looks beautiful with hazy golden color. Smells like it tastes. Had it first at the brewery, and then from bottles. Always has been good stuff
and it has mostly local upstate NY ingredients. Looks, smells and tastes good, if not great

First tried at Brewery during graduation weekend in Ithaca. Enjoyed the first sample so bought a keg to get a true tasting experience. Solid beer, like the "NY" aspect.
