Catch For Us The Foxes - mixed culture saison fermented in wine barrels with wine grapes. The first in red wax with red grape varieties Frontenac and Marquette. The second in green wax with white grape varieties Lacrosse, Lacressent, and Frontenac Blanc. Made with grain grown and malted in Ohio from Rustic Brew Farm and grapes grown locally in southeast Ohio.

750 ml green wax capped bottle, no dating information that I could find on the label or bottle. But looking online it seems this was a December 2022 release. Served in a Teku, the beer pours a somewhat clear gold color with about an inch off-white head. Head retention and lacing are both decent enough. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like white grapes/wine, grainy malt, hay, and some funk. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there's the addition of some apricot, herbal and lemony citrus flavors too. Nice bit of tartness. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's smooth and easy to drink with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a good overall brew, I'll try and make sure to try their other beers when I get the chance!
