This mixed culture saison blend was aged on over 2# per gallon of local strawberries from Chesterhill Produce Auction and a little bit of hibiscus. It’s lightly tart with lots of strawberry and some funk from our house culture.

Our beer Ladder to the Sun is a tribute to friends and incredible musicians in Saintseneca whose music gets regular play in the brew house.

16.9 ounce bottle, no dating on it but I think it was released over the past couple months or so. Bottle #094/288. Served in a Teku, the beer pours a slightly hazy amber color with about an inch off-white head. Head retention and lacing are both decent enough. I like the aroma, the brew smells mostly like strawberries, along with some funk and hibiscus. The brew tastes like strawberries, funk, bready malt, hibiscus, oak and some herbal bitterness. Nice balance between the sweet and tart flavors, and there's a lingering strawberry finish. Mouthfeel/body is light, it's easy to drink with a moderate amount of carbonation. I liked this brew a lot, certainly worth trying if you come across some!
