This beer is a light and hoppy saison aged in wine barrels with our ever evolving house microflora. Notes of ripe fruity funk, subtle oak and that ineffable saison joie de vivre.

Small sample at bayberry beer hall, short review
Pours a clear light gold with a finger of white head, leaves decent lacing
Quite tart in the aroma, closer to a golden wild ale. Notes of lemon, clean lactic tartness, white pepper, sharp oak, and crackery malt
Light lemond rind, crackery malt up front. Swallow brings notes of sharp oak, funky apricot, lime, and light earthy hops
Light medium body, moderate carbonation, super crisp and easy drinking
Very tart for a saison but delicious

16oz. capped bottle into a Grrrz teku.
Pours a foamy, 1 finger white head with very good retention. Beer is a clear goldenrod. Lacing is thick, stringy and sparse with good cling. A really good looking beer!
Aromas of coriander, clove, subtle peppercorn and a touch of Belgian yeast. Spicy, lively, sweet and aromatic.
Opens lightly tart. Notes of oak, citrus, coriander and clove. Again, like the nose, peppery and a bit yeasty in the middle. More clove and a mellow tartness. Some grape skin towards the end with a subtle, lightly hoppy finish. Foam in the aftertaste. Nice balance and subtlety.
Light bodied with ample carbonation. Prickly and lively in the mouth and goes down spritzy and with a little bite. Clean finish with little to no aftertaste. Very drinkable.
A very well crafted beer that is light enough to be drank all day long and complex enough to be interesting the whole way through. Worth trying!

Orange hue with a thin white cap. Nose is of lemons, light acidity, melon, funk, earth, peach. On the palate, peachy funk with a kck of sourness. Herbal, leathery Brettanomyces with a big drying factor. Earthy hops poking through in the finish. Medium body. This is a solid, funky saison. More tame than some of the others recently, but delicious nonetheless.

This is fantastic! Carb is perfect and just the right amount funk is present. Light barrel notes make this delicate saison a winner. F&M is consistently good, and this one is great!
