Forest & Main Brewing Co. "Caseosa"
on tap at the brewery on 9 April 2016
$6.50 / 20 oz.
Notes: Hazy brownish-ruby body, short white cap. Limited head retention and lacing as is common with sour beers. Funky sour nose, acetic and fruity. The flavor brings in apple, red berry, dark skinned fruit... maybe black cherry. It's acidic like vomit in your throat; sorry if that's off-putting. Earthiness and minor vegetal character rounds it out. Firmly bitter, and dry in the finish with acidity. Interesting and refreshing. Medium-light in body with a moderate carbonation.
