Field Lager pours a golden color with a huge, long-lasting, frothy, lacing head. The aroma has a chemical note. The flavor is very chemical, slightly sour, and pretty bitter. Good feel. Overall, a lot is going on, some clashing of bitter and sour and chemical.

Pale golden body with a large white and plenty of lacing abounding. Lemon and lesser so floral hops and pale grains with bready yeast and slight biscuit in both smell and taste. Hops are felt in a pale and dry way. Higher carbonation in a light body.

Pale burnt gold with a persistently fuzzy comforter after the level head of white foam dies down.
A wild grassy bitterness meets a hint of nutty, toasted white cornbread through a soft crispness.
Very mild malt flavors make for a solid near-pils experience.

Poured into grip shaped goblet: color is straw, slight chill haze, head is off white and presents one finger thick, head dissipates to thin top and lacing on the glass sides.
Smell is biscuit, toasted malt, light herbal and earthy hops.
Taste is more light malt with subtle biscuit and toast flavors, grassy and light herbal hop flavor.
Mouthfeel is moderate carbonation, low/moderate sweetness, lower bitterness, lingering dry crisp presence.
Overall an enjoyable artisanal lager - malt flavor is pleasant and hopping is fairly clean and earthy/grassy.

clear, yellow golden color, foamy white head. Nice grassy floral earthy aroma. Taste is crisp and clean, flavorful but very easy to drink

Clear gold with a finger-and-a-half of yellowed, airy, foam head. Moderate retention gives way to webbed lacing.
A traditional lager aroma with a little grassy, herbal quality yields to a touch of peanut, which disagrees with my preferences.
The taste follows. A very light kiss of malt sweetness, a little grassy bitterness, and a little peanut — of which any amount is too much to me.
Light to medium bodied with the perfect amount of carbonation to keep it lively and quaffable.
I love most of what F&M puts out, but this underlying peanut character in some of their brews isn’t for me. Tastes like a flaw if I’m being honest. It’s a shame, because I love the Saaz in this otherwise.
