16oz can purchased from the fridge as a four pack for $16.99 plus tax. No canned on date, but I think that this just came out recently so it's pretty fresh.
Look: Pours a nice golden copper color. Looks kind of like apple juice, but a few shades darker. There was a nice head upon pouring, but it dissipated pretty quickly.
Smell: Spicy and herbal aromas of Saison yeast. A lot of fruitiness up front - I totally get the Juicy Fruit Gum note that the brewery indicated. Lots of clove on the finish. A swirl of the glass yields a caramel malt backbone along with some floral hop notes.
Taste: The maltiness comes through right away - it has a nice caramel malt base with sweet notes. A pleasant, gentle acidity up front. The finish is actually very nice - it has a mild bitterness along with some herbal and hoppy notes. I also get "woody" notes on the finish, because the beer does finish very dry and crisp. Actually, I think that the beer has a tannic-like finish, reminiscent of black tea and lemon peel flavors. There are also interesting secondary notes of cocoa powder and cinnamon lingering on my palate. It's very drinkable and quite refreshing. All this being said, the flavor of this beer transforms after adding the sediment. It became richer, more rounded, and more complex. The finish became very pithy.
Feel: It's clean and crisp, in the middle between light and medium bodied.
Overall: Until I tasted this, I wasn't sure that I was going to like it nearly as much as the English-style bitter that it is based on (Mooey by Bonn Place Brewing). However, after tasting it I can honestly say that I am not sure which beer I like more. They are actually pretty different. I enjoy both a good bitter and a good Saison. I may have to have a side by side comparison. It's a very yummy colaboration. Kudos to Forest & Main and Bonn Place for coming together to make this beer!

Collaboration with Bonn Place Brewing. We recently got together with our pals from @BonnPlace for a fun little brewday. We decided to start with a base of their beloved Mooey, but ferment it in the Saison style, with our Foraged Yeast Culture. Our shared love for small beers of subtle complexity really come together in this little “Pub Saison.”
It was brewed with mostly Maris Otter, hopped with American and German hops, and fermented hot and quick. We find notes of delicate watermelon, Juicy Fruit Gum, ethereal tamarind, bamboo shoots, and garden geraniums. #MakeItAMoey #MakeItAMu
