A fun collaboration we did with our pals @HumanRobotBeer. Andrew shared his decoction knowledge as we double decocted a base of Premium German Pilsner and Munich malts, hopped it with admirable amounts of Styrian Fox, fermented it cold with our lager yeast, and aged it sideways in the traditional way for many weeks. We find notes of challah dough, sliced pears, sparkling lemon water, golden honey, fresh crackers, a sassy hop character, and summer grain field.

Really unique lager, this one has some life without being overdone. I guess this would be considered a cracker taste but it drinks good & clean with this nice surprise twist. Well done.

Released July 2024; drank 9/13/24 @ the Yarchives.
Semi-opaque orange appearance.
A rough pour yielded a huge bright white head; a thick curtain of tree-rung lacing remained.
Cereal grain, mild corn & faint pine notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Cereal grain & faint lemon flavors; wheat bread & mild pine notes on the finish.
Easy to drink with a nice flavor. No complaints here!
