Pours a dark brown with copper edges and a half finger of beige head. The nose has some notes of Bakers chocolate, but not much else. The flavor follows the nose, but the notes are modest and there are no appreciable roasted qualities.

Pours a deep, jet-brown body capped with multiple fingers of soapy, beige foam; good head retention yields a finger of dense, almost creamy cap, a silky, frothy collar, and modest dispersion of soapy, webby lacing plastering the walls of the glass.
Aromas of bitter roast ease to hints of malted chocolate, with accents of smoke and toffee lingering as tinges of yeast, bread crust, and minerality fade over the back end of the bouquet.
Taste brings charry roast and deepening coffee tones upfront as creamy milk chocolate interspersed across dark fruit esters over the mid-palate, leaving nutty dark cacao undertones meandering across the back end and through the finish.
Mouthfeel shows a medium-light body and moderate-full carbonation, dispersing a spritzy fluff as a fervent drying contrasts bitterness through the mid-palate into a soft, clean finish.
Steady roast sports a subtle detailing, while consistent bittersweetness informs the attenuation of creamy undertones for an entirely rounded, casually quaffable porter; a stellar consistency.
